My Family and Friends:
I love my family and I love my friends, which is why I often feel compelled to share images of them with others. At times it will fit into the context of my academic interests, and other times it will simply be amongst friends and strangers on the internet. Unfortunately my friends and parents are reluctant to give me access to old photographs or even for that matter to let me take new pictures of them, and my relatives are adamant about me not using their images publicly.
I’ve always felt that these stipulations were silly as they essentially ruin some of the wonderful aspects of photography, and the internet as well. Fortunately, I’ve found a way around this that makes everyone and no one happy all at once: a compilation of images of my family and friends that are taken/used with and without consent. Anyone who has not consented has simply had their face painted over. Finally I am able to share with you these most precious images of my family and friends; I hope that you enjoy them..
